How to watch Man Utd vs Lens in pre

Manchester United round off their preparations for the new season with two matches in two days, starting with a game against Ligue 1 outfit Lens at Old Trafford

Manchester United will play their penultimate pre-season fixture this Saturday (August 5) as they take on Lens at Old Trafford.

It's been a mixed pre-season for Erik ten Hag's men so far with three wins and three defeats under their belt. United got off to a flyer beating Leeds, Lyon and Arsenal without conceding a goal. But a 3-1 defeat to Wrexham, a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid and a 3-2 defeat to Dortmund saw United concede a total of eight goals while they netted just three in return.

Lens will provide a stern test for United, coming off the back of a season which saw them take Paris Saint-Germain to the wire in the Ligue 1 title race, ultimately missing out by a solitary point. United have bolstered their ranks this summer with the acquisitions of Mason Mount from Chelsea and André Onana replacing long serving goalkeeper David de Gea.

MUTV is the home of everything Manchester United. A must for every die-hard red, MUTV is the only place you can watch every United pre-season freindly. You'll also get behind the scenes access and exlcusive interviews with Erik ten Hag and the players meaning you won't want to miss out.

The Red Devils will go into the friendly with the French Ligue 1 outfit having also strengthened their striking department after securing the signature of Rasmus Hojlund who is joining Erik ten Hag's squad for £72million from Italian side, Atalanta. The young Danish striker bagged nine goals in 32 appearances for the Serie A side and the 20 year-old also has an impressive international record with six goals coming in as many games for the Danish national side.

Following the clash with Lens, United will be in action just a day later as they jet out to Dublin to take on LaLiga side Athletic Bilbao at the Aviva Stadium.

It will be the third time that United have played at the Aviva, with a 7-1 win over a League of Ireland XI in 2010, followed by a 2-1 victory over Italian side Sampdoria six years ago. United last faced Athletic Club in the 2012 Europa League and, before that, in the 1957 European Cup, which was their first season in Europe.

The Bilbao clash will be their final pre-season game before their Premier League curtain raiser against Wolves on Monday, August 14 at Old Trafford.

The new football season is upon us and with 500 live games to watch, as well access to Cricket, Golf, F1, Boxing, NFL and the NBA across eight dedicated channels, Sky Sports is the only way to watch all the action.
