Sam Hartman makes way for Steve Angeli. Hartman left the game with 19/23 passes, 4TDs and an 83 % completion percentage. Not a bad debut

1st and goal and Notre Dame force a loss of nine. Navy will need to throw the ball for a touchdown. Their carry is stopped well short. Third and goal here.

It's incomplete.

Navy kick on fourth down, it goes over and they get on the scoreboard.

Navy get into scoring territory but Notre Dame are determined to keep this a shut out. They are 3rd and 3. It's stopped just short. Navy are going to go for this.

They get the first down!

Navy continuing their tactic of running the ball and have a little bit of joy. It would be nice to see them get on the scoreboard.

They do enough to get a couple of first downs which will run down the clock.

Quarterback Tai Lavatai makes a 31 yard completion and first vertical completion of the day!

Jerimeyah Love with a 21-yard run and Notre Dame are well positioned for yet another touchdown.

Sam Hartman finds Deion Colzie who makes a man miss and that is TD number six for the Irish

Just one quarter left before Navy are put out of their misery and seats are slowly beginning to empty at the Aviva Stadium

Another throw from Tai Lavatai but it's incomplete. There is a fumbled snap and Navy lose 24 yards and forced to punt.

Quarterback Tai Lavatai actually aired the ball out and nearly finds Amin Hassan. More of this please! He throws a checkdown the next play too. It's fourth and one, Navy will go for it and get it.

A beauty of a catch by running back Audric Estime in heavy traffic. Third and long for Hartman and he's nearly picked off. The field goal is wide of the mark

As poor of a drive as Navy has put together here and they'll struggle to punt the ball away after being penned into their end zone.

Chris Tyree slips on the return but they'll have around 37 yards to go for a touchdown

Notre Dame have the ball on their own 35-yard line and start their half with a 10 yard run by Audric Estime.

Estime with another tidy run a play later and then another bulldozing run. Hartman has a nice throw to Jayden Thomas and they march down the field again.

Hartman evades some rushers and finds Jaden Greathouse in the end zone.

Notre Dame celebrates a turnover but the referees deem it Navy ball. Daba Fofana gains a couple of yards but Navy will punt it away.

The University of Notre Dame came across the sea to put on a show in Ireland. Show Navy what Fighting Irish means! Go Irish!

Not much of a contest here as Navy take a knee to bring up half time. We'll see what the half conjured up in terms of entertainment

Notre Dame take over on downs and Hartman hits Chris Tyree with a lovely pass down the field. Hartman really is having his way with Navy while Tyree makes a nice gain a play later.

They have 34 seconds to get the ball in the end zone, it's spiked with 29 to go.

Hartman takes a shot at the end zone but Tyree will get a pass interference call his way and they'll have a great chance for a TD before the half.

Hartman now has 17 seconds after an incomplete pass. It's a beauty to Jayden Thomas and Notre Dame lead 28-0!

Time for third and long. Navy's first chance at a score. Quarterback Tai Lavatai runs it for two yards. Fourth down and four here and they'll kick for goal. It's pushed wide!

QB Tai Lavatai makes a five yard gain and a touchdown is on here but Notre Dame do well to snuff out the next run. It's third and long. Will Navy throw the ball? We'll find out after a time out. Two minutes to go in the half.

Notre Dame kick the ball for a touchback and are happy to see if Navy can go 75 yards. Alex Tecza starts the drive with a seven-yard carry but the next play they are hit with a five-yard penalty.

Tecza does damage again before QB Tai Lavata gets a first down. Navy are going to need to throw the ball at some point, they have 0 passing yards. Brandon Chatman gets three yards. Daba Fofana gets a nice run and a play later they move the chains.

It's another run for Fofana. Alex Tecza gets a bulldozing run and we are still at 0 passing yards.

Brandon Chatman does well to make a dead play into a four yard gain while Tecza makes a gain and they are on the Notre Dame 25-yard line.

Notre Dame really having their way here as they cross half way with relative ease. Sam Hartman is nearly sacked but Deion Colze has the catch of the game so far. They are now on the 35-yard line.

A play later and he throws an absolutely beautiful TD to Jaden Greathouse!!!!!!

The kick after is good

It's fourth down and Navy's run game can't really get going. They punt the and it makes its way to the Notre Dame 22-yard line.

Navy run the ball and IT'S FUMBLED. Jack Kiser has his hands on it for Notre Dame, was it inbounds when he got it? Initially the referee says the ball was out of bounds but they'll look at it again. Nope, still stands. Navy live to fight another day.

Big fourth down coming up for Navy. They are 4th and one on their own 35-yard line. They get it!
