Rangers have confirmed their Champions League squad for the upcoming third-round qualifier against Servette.

Gers host the Swiss Super League side at Ibrox on Wednesday August 9 after Servette overcame Belgium's Genk on penalties following a 3-3 aggregate draw in the previous round. However, last season's Swiss runners-up boast a home advantage in the decisive second leg at their 30,000 seater Stade de Genève, which will take place on Tuesday August 15.

Due to UEFA's homegrown rule, Rangers boss Michael Beale has been forced to omit several first-team players from his squad. Out of the 25-man pool, eight places are reserved exclusively for "locally trained" and "club trained" players, which threw up a selection headache for the Light Blues. And it means the likes of Ben Davies, Tom Lawrence and Fashion Sakala have all been left out.
